Hey Peter. I mounted it on top of a pole and walked very slowly, timelapse video coming soon.
Andy after a year I'm still finding new places to put it and learning what makes an interesting 360. Ricoh being Ricoh means that we get frequent software updates with new features. Via the app we now have almost complete manual control over the camera as well as a nice low-power interval mode. I've been learning how to manipulate 360 degree video http://youtu.be/0bZWTmQVvGs and http://youtu.be/OcZofwOzE-0
Also there's a panorama viewer that's part of Googlecardboard that's pretty mind-blowing.
So no chance of being bored yet, I feel like I'm still scratching the surface of possibilities after a year, but I've been taking 360s with stitching software and a GW-2 long before this thing came out.
Oh and the new model is £50 cheaper than the old one.
Yeah UK although its still not arrived. Any day now they say but I paid my deposit at the local family-run camera shop and I'll just have to be patient. Only £270 and they're now on Amazon
