Was a Nikon user and gone through most of their cameras from D40 to D90 and then the daddy, the D700 as well as many lens. Decided I wanted smaller and lighter kit so sold the lot and brought into the m4/3 system which I still have.
So what am I doing here? M4/3 is all well and good but missed having an APS sensor, looked at the NEX-5, nice camera but not very photographer focused. Also the lens are very average to say the least. Discounted Samsung as it doesn’t offer me anything over my m4/3 kit. This lead me to the GXR system.
Had a passing interest when the GXR was announced but nothing more. It was reading Steve Huff’s review that made me take another look. After lots of reading of reviews and various blogs I decided to go to a shop and have a play around.
I walked out of the shop with a GXR, EVF, 50mm and 28mm. Unfortunately not had time to put it through its paces apart from the obligatory taking pictures of everything in close vicinity!
