I've always been fond of small cameras, I've owned various m43 cameras and liked them, but I wanted something even smaller. And after looking at the Ricoh GR series for a few years, I did decide to buy a GR IIIx just to try it out. They had just been released and I was able to buy one before they got expensive. Well, I liked the camera but when the GR IIIx HDF came out, I traded in my GR IIIx and I'm now a GR IIIx HDF owner.
Unfortunately, the GR series have one big problem, or perhaps I should say: the GR cameras have a problem with me. Since I need reading glasses, and I don't usually use glasses when outside, I usually don't see any details on the screen ... with an EVF the GR III would be perfect for me.
In addition to the GR IIIx, I also use a couple of Nikon FF bodies.
