Ok, this one may be suitably harder.
Unless there are some real knowledgeable fans here.

Yes, a lot harder. I'll start the ball rolling with Triumph Dolomite Roadster circa 1949.

Not a Triumph, sorry.
I do fear this is a bit too hard.
I've gone from relatively common to fairly rare.

Look outside the UK.

Zooming in a bit

I'm guessing but Alfa Romeo were really in to streamlining and enclosing wheels in the 1930s.

Delahaye 135?

Richard

Very similar sounding brand.

Time to end this one. Too hard or not enough players.
Thanks for persisting Richard, and my apologies.

It is a Delage D6.70

These are very rare in Oz. But oddly I knew someone who knew an owner of one.
Not this one though!

That rear wheel fairing seems really of a Delahaye, but the rear lights seem more of a ¿Talbot Lago? :?:

-----EDIT------
Upsss just one second late... ;) :D

Sorry, Albert you and I must have posted seconds apart.
I have a look at the Talbot Lago... very similar in looks IMO.

Tim,

Yes, rather difficult especially as the only place most of us on the forum will ever have seen these cars is in a museum. Quite a glorious looking car and there were some fabulour French & Italian aero designs in the 1930s - not so many British ones sadly although the MG Airline Coupe is not bad and was affordable in its day....not now though: http://www.sussexsportscars.co.uk/cars/ ... ine-coupe/
