External Flash Problem

Sorry for this stupid question, but I can't understand - how i can use hotshoe external device (Multiblitz Infrared transmitter) - if i can't switch flash mode to "External Flash"? I dont see this position in my menu - just "Flash Off", "Auto", "Red Eye" "Flash On" and "Syncro"!

I don't have any external flash to test, but I guess this menu option is available only if you have attached an external flash (most probably Sigma TTL compatible)? I wouldn't be surprised if it does not work with "dumb" (one pin) flashes and flash accessories.

And no way to use one pin flashes?

I'm sure you can use one pin flashes with GRDII. A lot of people uses them (mainly Metz 20 C2). But I don't have any clue if the external Flash menu item is there or not?
